HEALTH/DENTAL COVERAGE

TRS does not administer health and dental plans for retirees. You should check with your employer to determine your eligibility for health and dental coverage after retirement and to secure the proper forms to continue coverage. Your employer will submit the forms to the proper health and dental organizations. In some cases, health and dental organizations will authorize your premiums to be automatically deducted from your TRS monthly benefit.

TRS does not determine your eligibility to participate in a health or dental plan during your retirement, and does not provide information regarding the filing of claims. Please direct questions regarding your health and/or dental coverage to your plan provider.
