Beneficiaries:

How will employees indicate their beneficiaries and prior experience? 

When we begin receiving the new file format from employers we will auto enroll members using the information reported by the employer in the FTP.  At the point that we receive the enrollment information from the employer we will generate a letter to the member welcoming them to TRS and asking them to send TRS the beneficiary information.  We will have a different form, but it will only be used after you start reporting in the new file format.  Up until then, we will need the current forms to enroll new members and update beneficiary information.
