Verifying and Reporting TRS Retirees

  1. Report all TRS and ORP retirees to TRS. No later than the date of employment, employers hiring TRS retirees under the above conditions must verify eligibility via the online verification application on the Employer Desktop. Please complete each section that applies to your system.
  2. You must verify eligibility via the online verification application on the Employer Desktop at the beginning of each fiscal year (July 1) and/or each time there is a change in contract hours, pay or position title.
